Clayton Andrews Clayton Andrews, President of Andrews Van Lines, Inc., grew up in the moving business and learned it from the ground up. He worked in every aspect of the business including moving household goods, working in the warehouse, driving trucks, crating furniture, working in the office, and even overhauling trucks. Clayton is responsible for the growth and expansion of the family business. He took over the entire operation in 1954.

In addition to managing the growth of Andrews Van Lines, Inc., he has served the industry in many additional capacities. He held the position of President of The Movers' and Warehousemen's Association of America and served on its Board of Directors both before and after he was President. He was also Chairman of the Nebraska Motor Carriers Association and is still serving on its Board of Directors. He also served as President of the Independent Movers Conference. Clayton founded the organization known as "The Movers Round Table" and has been its President for 28 years since its inception. He has also been a member of the MTMC Military Industry Panel for approximately 26 years. He was awarded membership in the Nebraska Pioneer Movers Hall of Fame by The Movers and Warehousemen's Division of the Nebraska Motor Carriers Association. He also received the "The Carroll F. Genovese Moving Award."

Always active in civic affairs, Mr. Andrews was appointed the First Chairman of the Airport Authority and served in that capacity for 13 years. He was active in the local Chamber of Commerce and served on the Chamber Board for several years. In 1993 he was awarded the "Meritorious Service Award of the National Guard Association" of Nebraska. In 1994 he was named "Norfolk's Outstanding Citizen."
